More than 50% of teachers, according to studies, don’t have satisfactory preparation in what to do when a kid has a mental health issue. The greater part of elementary teachers say they don’t feel satisfactorily prepared in supporting students with emotional well-being issues, studies recommend.

Only one out of 10 “firmly agreed” with the announcement that they believed they had the important preparation to feel certain about what to do when a youngster was encountering a mental health problem, contrasted with 54% who oppose this idea.
